  • Recycled Materials

The clothes are made with 60%-90% recycled plastic content, thanks to the innovative Digital Printing and Seamless 3-D Knitting technologies of our suppliers at NovaTomato, a certified recycled products manufacturer. Their process converts 17 water bottles into beautiful clothes with vibrant colors, superior fit and exceptional comfort. Helping to bring our designs to life in an stylish and sustainable manner. Each purchase supports the circular economy, helping to keep plastics away from our landfills and our oceans.

  • Growing Forests and Solutions

Inca Merch is a passion project to support Ruta Verde Sustainability Nonprofit. All our profits will go to support the Washington-based Nonprofit that focuses on restoring burnt down forests with the use of Indigenous Agroforestry techniques to restore our soils, promote native ecosystems, and capture carbon out of our atmosphere. Founded by the owner, Joao Vilca Soto, the nonprofit also supports similar sustainable programs in Peru. The goal is to develop our understanding of working with nature to create a sustainable future.

  • Life And Sustainability

My name is Joao Vilca Soto, a descendant of Indigenous Andeans, and the founder of Inca Merch. I am an artist and environmental activist of over 10 years. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Applied Sciences in Sustainable Practices with field experience in the Amazon Rainforest, Iceland, and throughout the western United States. I am also a Board Member for the Ruta Verde Sustainability Nonprofit among other nonprofits, and I am a trained Climate Reality Leader. While I am always ready to advocate for a sustainable future, the real reason why I started Inca Merch is to fulfill a childhood dream of seeing more colorful fashion styles just as my ancestors proudly wore.
